Title: May be a Stupid Question?

I guess I always took it for granted thinking that both races were the same distance but I just noticed that the B.C Sprint is 6F & the F/M Sprint is 7F?
Any reason why other than just because?

Probably because there is no mile for fillies/mares. So one race handles the 2 groups I would think.
