can anyone offer insight to the Grand Union Motel?
Walking distance to track?  Just for me and the wife?  Safe,....

Saratoga, in my 30 years, is very safe. The motels are decent. I believe that motel is on Broadway in town, which is always very alive and busy. Good luck!!!

Nice place...have fun and watch out for ZITO in the Haskell.

about 1 mile from the back entrance ($3 cab ride, don\'t drive). nice, clean motel, i would say very safe. tough to get a room on the w/e\'s though. a very nice italian restaurant right down the road, on the right side as you walk towards the middle of town (sorry, i forgot the name).

I think the restaurant is Chianti\'s.
