Midstretch the rider of the tiring 5 passes his whip to the rider of the rallying 6. Hard to believe it’s allowed but no inquiry and quickly posted official.

Well, in all my years of watching races, I have never seen that! Is there even a rule about that??? Jockeys have  certainly gotten more friendly over the years.
