Are we thinking that the handle on the Pegasus World Cup and Turf will be negatively affected by the prohibition of Lasix and other medications?
-
I\'m more interested in seeing what effect it has on the figures they run.
-
How do you separate the effect of no medication from the effect of changing track speed?
-
They\'re not all going to run slower or bleed, some will and some won\'t. We will be able to tell. But that\'s a good question.
-
What\'s the USA off track handle on Dubai World Cup day compared with similar races where Lasix is permitted? That would be a good starting point in figuring out the answer to your question.
-
it certainly didn\'t effect the entries !

Big day for sure. In 2019 it was $41 million while Florida Derby day was $49 million. Just as a comparison: Travers $52, Friday BC did $52, Oaks $55, Preakness $93, BC Saturday $105, Belmont $137, Derby Day $225.
