Chad Brown does it again. Horse was the slowest on paper by 2-4 points depending on who you compared him to in that field. And the horse moves up to take that race. I\'ve only been using the sheets for 4 or 5 years, and seriously playing horses for maybe 6, and I\'ve never seen a turf trainer have the ability to move up horses to a point where they win.
What do the experts attribute this to? I\'m not at all suggesting anything nefarious here. One thought I\'ve had is that his horses / riders are stuck in such paceless races that they time their final move based on the way the race is run and that may not always result in a final time worthy enough to produce a sexy figure. Saving ground is another obvious reason.

Chad Brown is currently somewhat of an enigma. It has been pointed out that until yesterday his entrants had been disappointing. It has been suggested from more than a couple of sources that he is being scrutinized by the FBI as part of the follow-up to Servis & Navarro charges.
So he was having a poor Saratoga meet until yesterday. He got two turf winners and a 1st timer ran second.
What is noteworthy is that his turf runners are once again finishing races like Secretariat. During CCB quiet period I noticed that his runner got position but just didn\'t finish like they do when he\'s running hot.
Nefarious? I\'ll say curious how is it that a trainer gets a horse to run so much faster than competitors at the end of a race, at the dash for the finishing line.?
