Title: Mystic Dan's Mystifing Performance

Just saw a comment from Mr.McPeek about his derby winners performance in the Pegasus. He is perplexed by his horses performance. After a long layoff,  he drove by van for 2 days to California , never ran a step,  put him on a plane and ran him yesterday. His TG figures are non winners of 2x at best, maybe a grade 3 or listed stakes. Sans his wet track and his derby effort.

While he is a derby winner , and deserves praise for the feat,  it is hard to imagine him winning another race,  and continuing the tradition of derby winners to under perform after winning.
