Mini Belmont Stakes today in this G3 going 1 1/16
A field of 7 featuring 5 Derby runners:
1.Gaming
Florent Geroux 5-1
2. Final Gambit
Flavien Prat 5-2
3. Chunk of Gold
Jareth Loveberry 6-1
4. Just a Fair Shake
Jaime Rodriguez 15-1
5. Burnham Square
Brian J. Hernandez, Jr. 7-2
6.Coal Battle
Corey J. Lanerie 9-2
7. East Avenue
Luis Saez 4-1
Money should be spread nicely among these also-rans. And the other two will also get their action. Burnham Square for me with both hands- may the racing gods at CD treat me kindly this time!

Also of note, there is a non-jackpot pk5 carryover of 241k in the late pk5 at CD
-
According to DRF, both Gaming (shipped back to SA for today\'s Affirmed) and Chunk of Gold (waiting for Ohio Derby) are going to scratch.

Thanks for the heads up Bit. My odds just got cut in half ugh.
Ah well double my bets! lol
-
Just a Fair shake also scratched. Down to 4 horses, with WP, EX, and DD betting only. Killed any hopes of doing anything major in this race.
-
Gonna look hard at this race in a bit. Need a saver. Finished 6th, 1st and 2nd in the Triple crown with no cashes at all. Skunkville. Gonna study this track like a ground squirrel before laying my peanuts down.

I am betting BS to win
Big exacta Burnie over East Avenue-
repeat of the Bluegrass on Repeat Weekend!😀

No bet
Theres just not enough for motivation.
Yeah, looks like a made up word.
How disappointing. Everything is 2-1.
How chicken shit for the Silver Vet to dodge this one. Pure bawk, bawk, bawk.
Its a fast track.

The scratches killed any shot of getting a price in that race. Waited a week to bet this weekend\'s races. Depressing.

Very much so.
The Belmont has to make one realize Sovereignty has a great late turn of foot, but sure wish the one two Winn finishers took to the track on Derby Day. It was a nightmare.
