Title: Triple Crown News from Ozone Park
Post by: richiebee on April 17, 2005, 02:40:19 PM
Tetrahedron, winner of race 5 at Aq, is Triple Crown nominated. Trained by D. Wayne Lukas, this son of High Yield out of a Deputy Minister mare conquered a field of 3YO 40/30 claimers to record his second consecutive win.

Although earnings would be a problem, there has still been no comment from the Lukas barn
as to Tetrahedron\'s Triple Crown status.

But seriously, in Aqs 9th event today, there is a first time starter by Seattle Slew out of Flanders, trained by Todd Pletcher. Interesting he goes 1 mile on the grass in his first start, but there was a very fast grass work at PmM on 1/26. Triple Crown nominated and likely bet to favoritism here.
