Frankel and Juddmonte have a daughter of Toussaud running today in the 11th race at Santa Anita. Tolerance (her name) is facing a particularly weak bunch of maidens in the nite cap. Of course, she\'ll be 3/5, but with a large Pick Six Carryover and using her as a key to Pick Fours, some cash is still possible. In her debut, it looked like P-Val was told \"give her a race\". She ranged up easily on the rail in a downhill sprint race and was not urged much to run an easy third; plus, she galloped out super, which is rare in those downhill sprints, so the extra distance should be a plus.
Speaking of Frankel,he\'s got a few other perverbial beasts running today. Notre Dame in the 9th race looks like she could be any kind of filly, and a return to the grass should be all that\'s required to move her into the winner\'s circle again. She ran her heart out in last on dirt against a very strong speed biased track and a good competitor, her stable-mate, Lady Pegasus. Singalong a decent sort of filly looks like her main competition there along with Carini and Immortalite bringing up the rear.
Frankel\'s loaded again the the big feature with Argentina, a real monster who had NO SHOT in her last race chasing a VERY slow pace and decent foes -- the extra distance should suit her well. Cissy is a deserving longshot who looks also to have a world of potential -- seems like a nice exacta in the making.
The rest of the card is OK. In the third race Charm the Giant is yet another beast of a filly; she returns off a layoff, and she should toy with her rivals there -- anything NEAR her 3-1 morning line is a GIFT -- 3/5 is more like it!
Ok that\'s enough. Closing weekend at Santa Anita. Another year older and another season of \"what if\'s\", \"al-mosts\" and \"if-only\'s\" -- what else is new?
Time to hit the showers and on to the track.
Good luck to all.
