Title: 71 YO Jock Tries Again

71 year old Frank Amonte tried once again to be the 1st 70+ year old jockey to win a race today at Aqueduct. Riding Eightycentsaday trained by his son Frank Amonte Jr., he finished 10th of 11 in the 9th race at Belmont. I quess that\'s a slight improvement over his last race where he finished last. At this rate he may ride a winner by the time he\'s 81. Go Frank.

after the last race, I\'m thinking that he might be a step up from Fragoso...that was out and out carelessness.
