I\'m probably going to do one of the GP stakes.
-
hey jerry, why can\'t you do the santa big cap? biggest race of the year out there.
-
Jerry,
I realize it might not be the best for business but the FOY is the race of the year so far with lots of patterns et al.The big CAP has the usual suspects. Whats the attraction?

The FOY would be very interesting and might actually spur on some handicapping discusson!
-
come on FOY race of the year? most of those horses will never be around derby day.
-
Tony,if it wasn\'t you behind the title...I\'d probably still be confused.
-
High,
I said \"so far\".I\'m not suggesting this will be THE race of 2007.The Big Cap is a good race also but the 3yr olds seem more intriguing to me at this time of the year.

FYI, Moss Pace Figures Enhanced Past Performances are available, free of charge, for the FOY Stakes on DRF.com under the heading Races of the Week. The SA Hcp is also available.

Jerry throws out FREE analysis each week to the ungrateful minions and gets criticized and a slough of opinions on how to run his business. CLASSIC!!!!
Let me summarize for you about the other two races that didn\'t make ROTW, since y\'all are curious:
Big Cap:
Lava Man wins, Arson Squad and McCann\'s Mojave battle it out for the minors
Fountain of Youth:
Shobiz runs a smasher. A negative 2. Draws off by 10 lengths. Scat Lover (oops) and Drums o\' Thunder round out the exacta. Stormello runs for three furlongs before coughing the bit...
Any questions?
Sorry but it\'s the same ol\' chaulk-fest
-
David,
I\'m glad we can relate......

Yes: Do the racing gods bitch-slap you every week, or was this just an exception?

Stormello ran all 8.9999 furlongs and not just three.....Had to settle on the exacata box ...needed that extra .0001 to cash a significant win bet.
