For NY horseplayers who may find they have extra time on their hands, \"Man o\'
War\", by Dorothy Ours, is every bit as readable and entertaining as Laura
Hillenbrand\'s \"Seabiscuit\".
I\'m only about a third of the way through the book and Ms. Ours has already
told tales of horses being sponged, doped, held and hopped, all nearly 100
years ago. Who needs live racing?
