Anyone know why the owner changed trainers?

Bennie couldn\'t do it anymore, because Calder has nothing to offer the horse. He said the horse needs to be in NY so he can run in stakes races.

Would not assume Smooth Air is a gimme 2day in the Salvatore Mile

$250K Grade III has attracted a competitive field. Smooth Air off the Met run will be nowhere near his 5-2 ML (probably around 8-5) which means others will have more value.

Chalk is working well (see two back) but don\'t just assume things here
