Big time congratulations to Thoro-Graph clients Bryan and Judy Wagner for finishing 1-2 in the NTRA year-long 2009 NHC Tour. This really is an unbelievable accomplishment-- just winning it would be, let alone a husband and wife finishing 1-2. And it could not happen to two nicer people.
Bryan won 100k, Judy 37,5 for finishing in a dead heat for second. For those of you who don\'t know, Judy is also the only woman ever to win the National contest, back in 2001, when she was still using Ragozin.

It is indeed an unbelievable exacta which could not possibly have happened to two nicer people, both of whom have always gone the extra yard and then some to support the game and contests. Tuley\'s article sums things up pretty well: http://www.drf.com/news/article/110000.html
One thing the article doesn\'t mention, however, is that the majority of their points were earned in contests with low--and in some cases no--entry fees, and many of those contests were online.
Speaking of the Tour, it is anticipated that a number of very player friendly changes will be made to the rules for 2010, which will probably be released within the next week or so.

Wow. What a tremendous feat of skill and handicapping. The day I qualified for NHC Bryan went something like 8 out of 10 to win the day -- and I thought that was as as good as it could get...apparently not. Congratulations Wagners. Look forward to seeing y\'all at the NHC. Michael Beychok
