Black Caviar about to race in Australia, about 40 minutes (half-a-million dollar Group 1)  First race back after her break.

5 furlongs, 55:42 under a throttle, cantering, broke the COURSE RECORD

Holy Shit.

BTW, this is first race back after 7 months layoff.  Record 23: 23-0-0-0 at distances from 5 furlongs to 7 furlong (not a mile as I had posted)

Would love to see Black Caviar come running down the hill at Santa Anita in the BC Cup Turf sprint.Wonder how really fast she is, figure wise.

Rags had Frankel\'s best in the neg -4 TG range which is the fastest fig I can recall on grass.
