This is just a short note to say what I\'ve been thinking, but not saying, for a long time now:
I love the ThoroGraphs, but I\'m not a fan of your Thoro-Graph Race Shapes, where you graph projections for where horses figure to be after a quarter mile in a race. I think they, well… suck. Too often (that\'s every time I glance at them), they\'re just downright wrong and misleading.
Just one example of zillions: In yesterday\'s La Jolla Handicap, your Race Shapes projected that FREAKIN ROCKET would have (what?...) a 6 length lead over the field early! And that ROSENGOLD (he with the 34.3 recent work) would be strictly second tier out of the gate. It\'s really pretty preposterous.
Just saying.

They\'re not projections. They\'re history, like al PP data. And riders and instructions affect what horses do.

And in the DRF before the race, Freakin Rocket\'s trainer said he wanted to see his horse stalking.
