Apparently Ortiz had been winning to often, I sure hope he is alright.
-
I didn\'t realize his bro was on the #4. It looked ugly, Hard to comprehend AUS, JAP,EUR more traffic seemingly fewer crashs.

J.L. Ortiz Wednesday 3 Wins, 3 Seconds, 1 Third, 3 Jockeys to the hospital, zero major injuries, one dead horse in 7 races. What a day!
I thought his brother Irad was hot when he won five times last Saturday. Who is their agent, Anderson?

Do not know about \"crashs\", but apparently there were three equine fatalities at the
recent Royal Ascot meet -- two catastrophic breakdowns and one heart attack.

Thanks for pointing out that \"crashs\" s/b crashes or collisions. Not to be confused with breakdowns. In my defense I want to say:
1. I was bleary eyed from lack of sleep, Florida pollen irritation and was not wearing my glasses to correct my farsightedness.
2. I was using my beloved DiNovo Edge wireless keyboard which now has a couple of keys that don\'t register.
But bottom line It occurred to me that \"crashes\" was the correct spelling and I was too lazy to either check or correct it. I was ignorant, careless and irresponsible which leads me, at last, to my point.
After a couple of days of cooling down and some reflection I have concluded that I made a snap decision after watching the race. I decided J. Ortiz rode the race carelessly and caused others to suffer. I became infuriated that an undeserving putz was prospering through such behavior. He/they got on my radar as villains.
Now I realize, It was just another episode of my irrationality. Gee, it\'s just NY racing. Check subjectivity at the door.

Certainly did not intend to make light of your spelling, keyboard skills or hardware.
I suppose that I was reacting to a tendency, distilled efficiently in your post,to say that all bad things in American racing have been eliminated or greatly diminished in other venues. I was merely producing evidence to the contrary.
If its \"crases\" I want I\'ll watch NASCAR.

BEL Race 6 Wed 7/2/2014
Once again rough race riding is rewarded. This time Lezcano assisted by useless NY stewards. Sure, it was OK the stewards said so! But, speaking as one customer I don\'t enjoy race riding I prefer horse racing.
-
It looked like the rail horse was the reason for the 2 checking not Lezcano. I thought it was the right call
-
I can excuse an exhausted horse wavering and causing trouble. I hope you are right in your assessment.
One of these days I\'m gonna hurt myself via my knee jerk reactions.
-
I\'ve had plenty of those knee jerk reactions myself and I have 2 bad knees requiring replacement due to it. Trust me you don\'t want to go there.
