According to the numbers STM had 1 race in the past two years that would make her competitive in the Shuvee field.  I really thought she was 4th best in this field.  Time to start throwing darts!

the one competitive figure was going 9f at the Spa. relevant, no?

If you buy into the horses for courses theory it is indeed relevant.  I was more inclined to believe she would run another 3 and I was wrong.

If you want to see a horse for the course, Redboard Saturday & look at Waco\'s sheet in the 3rd race at Saratoga. He was a different horse here last year & those who follow the HFC angle were rewarded if they thought he was ready off the layoff.    
In the old days Fourstardave & Quick Call were totally different horses at Saratoga.
