Am I understanding correctly that this would be perfectly legal if the medication clears the system by post race testing but becomes illegal if any trace remains? If so, then whether it was administered topically or by injection isn\'t relevant. It\'s only about correctly understanding how fast the medication clears the system.

You must not have read the recent posts over there. Jake is the ring leader and has brought the crazies out of the woodwork. The complaints about Cuomo are almost exactly the opposite of the screwup highlighted in this AP article. Jake’s rant is about Cuomo, et al over-reacting to the virus by keeping everything locked down too tight. For them there is no problem if the government would just stop meddling and let everybody go about their business.

More than a handful. At the starting gate you have 25 or 30 people in close proximity to each other. Those people then go home to their families. This is what keeps the virus spreading. It’s a totally avoidable congregating. On the backstretch the employees at least have the opportunity to social distance. They may not take advantage of that opportunity but at least they aren’t forced to congregate by the nature of the job. California did the right thing in my opinion.
