Preakness adds speed with Loaban,Uncle Lino, Stradiveri, Collected...... More interesting early race shape than derby,on paper.

Miff:
Looks like they plan on taking Loaban from off the pace---at least those are the quotes(or whatever one wants to call it) from Guillot.

From watching the newcomers past races, and assuming a clean break, Collected should be alone on the lead. The thing that makes him interesting is that he, unlike DC, can run just as effectively sitting just off.

The obvious questions surround him, however he is becoming an interesting thought if one\'s beliefs are that the derby winner will regress.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

Guillot lives in alternate universe, would take that with a grain of salt.

Laoban was blinkers off for the Derby if he drew in.
Assuming he has that equipment change next Saturday.

Stradivari most interesting of the new ones for me pending last race #\'s.

This will be one of Nyquist\'s easier races. Sad SBN is passing it for the Belmont. This race suits his running style better and there won\'t be much traffic. Lani looks like a decent Belmont horse. Points in all 5 wings. Rare in modern day thoroughbreds.
