Irad\'s two mounts that he abandoned at Pimlico, Lady Shipman and Takeover Target, both win stakes. Meanwhile, at Elmont, of 12 mounts, he had 1 scratch (11 mounts), 1 win, and 4 places, and 1 show (I think).
(Yes, I\'m bitter I threw Takeover Target out of p5 for that reason only despite good off turf races and that\'s the only leg I missed on a smallish ticket)....I almost never key on or off of a jockey\'s decision...Play the horse, right?
