Magnum Moon

3 Y/o colt Magnum Moon trained by Todd Pletcher ran for a second time today. He won as was expected. He beat his stablemate Hyndford by Street Cry in a 1st level allowance race.

The interesting colt was Vouch by Yes Its True who was a very game 3rd after a load of trouble all the way around. If trainer Delacour keeps this one at or about a mile. He might slip under the radar somewhere next out.

The winner is a leggy colt and a bit fragile looking. By Malibu Moon, and foaled May 9, suggesting this one will fill out prior to the first Saturday in May. Probably pointed at the Tampa Derby.

Two To Watch!

TAP has a big day. Solomini has a less than ideal trip. Now I have the points to go with my pool 3 25/1.

Solo did not have the ideal space, but he did save ground most of the way around. Magnum 3 wide.  Pretty green in the stretch though.  Time is ok, but nothing special.  Solo is likely the one that will be heard from on the trail, as he probably needed a race off of the layoff.
