But later on in Bill Finley\'s miscellany, he makes a very odd - and very wrong - statement:  \"Even the most strident PETA types have never compared Thoroughbred racing to dog racing or made any serious calls for a ban to horse racing.\"

Uh, upon which planet is Mr. Finley living???

On PETA\'s blog at time, someone posted that, since Eight Belles\' death was caused by  Gabriel Saez going to the whip, Saez should be put to death as well.  

One can only hope, in this day and age, people don\'t believe everything they say.

You could have gotten ten times those odds on Justify, prior to his first start.  He wasn\'t even in pool 2.
