3yo Champion

With Birdstone\'s win in the Travers the 3yo Championship race is now really a race.

Even though Smarty Jones has the National Appeal he was still beat by one horse and that was Birdstone.

If Zito can pull off a win against older (I.E. Woodward, JC Gold Cup, B.C. Classic) or a strong 2nd in the Classic he can certainly get there.

If he should be champ is up for debate but it is now a race.

P.S.
One super smart TG user (And you know who you are) said this after the Travers and it stuck a real chord and I felt I should share it.

\"How can the winner of the Travers and Belmont only have a top on the beyers of only a 101?\"  What\'s wrong with that picture?

I think I know who you are but the one thing that confuses me is you said, One Super Smart TG user, so now I\'m not so sure. In any event welcome.

Excellent job on the ROTW by TG. I played my selection Christines Outlaw who decided to be the one dead mount Prado had today.

As far as my day as whole went:

Bad Day at the Track: $200.00

Thumbs Up from my Golf Teaching Instructor after the 9:00AM lesson and film review:

Priceless

Birdstone is a nice horse, but he may race one more time this season if I know Zito, and with his sub par figs I cant see him competing with the better handicap horses this season
