Curious to see what number TG assigns. Wide both turns and certainly not the trip he received in the Southwest. Fortunate to get 3rd and that probably gets him in.

Now the obvious questions--did he regress off his last, was that a freak toss-out  performance in the mud, did he need the race on Saturday, etc.

Any thoughts on him?

I have know clue what to do with McPeek horses. Hope it rains first Sat. of may?
When he zigs , I zag. Smile Happy last year on the derby weekend is the last time I cashed with him.

Definitely has the numbers to compete.

Heading into the Derby off a backward move is not a good thing. You want to come in off a top, or a pair-up.
