To those who wondered about my \"Hey, Len?\" post-- the following was Len\'s post on the Ragozin board:
\"In the interest of injecting a little humor into our usual drab handicapping discussions, I would like to offer a free set of SHEETS to the first poster who correctly explains why I congratulated eclipse winners Ken Ramsey, Ghostzapper and Todd Pletcher with the description \'Sheet connected\' rather than \'Sheet users\', a distinction whose significance was apparently too subtle for a disingenous manic marketeer who resides elswhere (I guess this means we\'re not burying the hatchet). Let\'s try to have a winner within an hour as I\'m hoping to leave by 6pm and I have another post on this subject. And they\'re off!\"
My first reaction was-- manic marketeer, wow. Nice alliteration.
My second reaction was what I posted-- if GZ is reading sheets, that is a news story. Astoundingly enough, this turned out to be the answer Len was looking for, and he got cranky because I beat him to the punch (line), however inadvertently.
My third reaction was-- second prize, TWO free sets of sheets.
Anyway, a couple of days ago Eric said on their site, \"Congrats to Sheet customer John Sadler on his upset victory in the million dollar Ocala Breeders Classic. John claimed Musique Toujors off The Sheets last year for only $40,000\". But soon thereafter, there were articles in TWO different publications giving credit for the claim to two different individuals, neither of whom was Sadler.
So Len, here\'s my question-- since Musique Toujors is also obviously \"sheet connected\", who taught him to read sheets?
