chalky day - i guess we just have to take the low odds. i think briviesca will turn the tables on honey ryder here. they met last in a ten horse field, and bailey wound up getting the worst of it. with only seven entered here, i expect a much better trip and a win.

JR does it gain - 1w/1w/1w, while bailey was 3w/4w/3w. bailey had post 7, but i thought he would work out a decent trip in the small field. i\'m glad that wasn\'t part of the pk6 - would have been an early exit for me.

i wonder why bailey didn\'t go from the start? the horse was a length off a :48.4 pace two races ago (and still finished well). he could have got the lead easy there. he might have gotten a bit leg weary at the end, but he would have saved at least five lengths. bad trip read on my part.
