Well...it looks like I\'m the last man to jump ship. The Arkansas Derby is won by horses with speed, kind of like the Big race in May. I see Afleet/Flower/Rush/Greater Good in that order. At 7/2, It\'s a big win bet on Alex.

7-2 on Afleet Alex?  Good luck getting those odds, there is a better chance that Alex wins the Triple Crown than he goes off at 7-2 today.

He will be 2-1 or less, probably less.  Don\'t forget he was 3-5 or 1-2 a few weeks ago.  Granted he ran awful, but he still has 6 of the 7 fastest figures in this race.  I doubt he climbs all the way up to 7-2!

I may be tempted on Alex depending upon the price. I still think hes a good horse, I\'m just trying to weigh how a lung infection clearing up impacts him this race. Can he possibly be 100%? He\'s working good, but the test will come in the last 3 marks. I think if Alex finishes well that could be viewed very positively. Tough call to say now is the time, but I\'ll look at that odds. I just dont think we\'ll get much even here.
