If AFLEET ALEX is not 100% healed, then why was he out there throwing bullet works of :59 and change and :46 and change at Belmont?

You would think his connections would have waited for the all clear sign before having him tear up the track in the morning.

   I don\'t know if you are aware (my guess is that you are) that negotiations concerning AA\'s stud career are ongoing. Any BC Classic placing would have meant millions more to the Cash Is King Stables.

   And by the way, if you think AA will run as a 4YO, don\'t forget to leave that cookie for Santa.

That\'s a harsh statement.  Unfortunately it also happens to be a true one.

I think - here\'s a scary thought - the horse was turning in those bullet times rather effortlessly  

By what they are reporting publically, the fracture healing is exactly where it should be, and nothing they\'ve reported is inconsistent with what happens during return to full function (including doing the speed work but not wanting 1 1/4 miles under unpredictable racing conditions)

Consider that the horse, although kept incredibly fit throughout all this via excellent management, can\'t realistically be BC \"tight\" in 2 1/2 weeks without compressing four more weeks of training into that time frame.

If all I had left on my radiograph was the last little line pending perfect fracture healing, I\'d not risk a thing (physically) shooting for elite performance in 2 1/2 weeks, when I\'m still the one to unseat for divisional champion.

He\'ll be out after mid-November.  Considering the base that\'s been put onto this horse over the last months, he could indeed be a monster.
