BC Pre-Entries Top 8
« on: October 23, 2005, 09:23:45 PM »
Looking at the BC pre-entries again ( after what the Giants just did to Denver ) and coming up w/ a list of order of preference , each race  will invariably change slightly after the draw - but it looks like there\'s going to be a couple good bets this year  ...
Juvenile fillies - Sensation
Juvenile - Henny Hughes  , Diabolical , First Samurai
Filly and Mare Turf - Angara , Wonder Again , Favourable Terms
Sprint - Wildcat Heir , Elusive Jazz , Taste Of Paradise
Mile - Sir Shackleton , Leroidesamaux , Artie Schiller , Majors Cast
Distaff - Ashado , Happy Trail , Society Selection
Turf - Silver Foot , Azamour , Better Talk Now , Shakespeare
Classic - Saint Liam , Flower Alley , Borrego , Rock Hard Ten ,*Super Frolic

I completely disagree with your Sprint coverage. Taste will bounce like a superball and Elusive should go run around a 1 or 2 with the pattern she is possessing. I could be wrong though...

No after what Eli just did to Denver.

I have been touting Angara since Saratoga but I think she is over the top.

No Folklore in the juvy filly interesting.

I like the Distorted Humor, just not the one you like. But he could also bounce back like Albert and Louis Q. did for Zito a few years back.

By the way as hot as Eli was on the last drive find out who he likes.

What did you mean when you wrote No Folklore? Is that one out now too?

Anyone else thinking AZAMOUR looks great in the turf. First, has a nice overall sheet of working his way down to the 0.2 and backed up just a bit in his last and looks to run that 0.2 on Sat. I\'m not singling anyone, but this might be the race where I\'ll take him and maybe one-two other\'s in this race in the Pick 4.

Azamour fits very well in this one and I believe is the one to beat. Along with Bago. Ace -Better Talk Now , Shakespeare and English Channel ( All the English or English theme horses) are the horses I believe will be part of the tri\'s & supers in my opinion. With the defection of Motivator Shake the Bank gets in (ie the rabbit for Better talk now) and that one is 2 for 2 with the rabbit in.

NCT-- SC meant that Marcus left Folklore out of his selections.

She would have to be pretty dinged up for D Wayne not to run her in this spot, especially since he only has one other filly for this race.

The filly I like, Original Spin, worked well for Bailey. The mere presence of JDB probably means I wont be getting double digit odds I was looking for.

I looked at both Folklore and Sensation similarly except one is 10-1 and the other is prohibrative - so the short price had to go ... The ML line in that race  doesn\'t seem to reflect the horse\'s real world chances .

I am loving Azamour off that line, after seeing the last race, I am tossing shakespeare and english channel, throwing in ace and shirocco. It will be a faster pace now the the rabbitt is in.
