For all of the Triple Crown promises thrown towards Nobiz Like Shobiz you still need to perform on the track.

As I said in the post \"Not an Encore Performance\" there are too many excuses being made to have your doubts and not enough value on the tote board to make someone forget them.

Next candidate please.

He didn\'t look great today.  It\'s always the same thing. When a horse wins impressively early, there will always be a lot of hype surrounding him. Some will go on to improve further and develop into really nice horses and others will disappoint (early bloomers, cranked up early, physical problems etc..). They are almost always overbet though. You can count on that much.

The problem is that it is somewhat difficult to tell which ones will go forward and which will not. I would have guessed that No Biz had a pretty good chance to develop quite a bit further. I\'m a little less sure now.  No competent trainer has his better 3YO prospects all wound up in February/March, but you at least like to see them moving forward race to race without going over the top.

Let\'s see what the figure is.

The HRTV hosts were throwing Flowers and Daisys Nobiz\'s way when they should have been throwing Tomato\'s and Rubush.

Scat Daddy runs much better on the outside and will grind. Pletcher had one breeze in his horse. There is more in the tank. He will run and try as hard as his pedigree will take him.

Give me one of those any day over a Paper Champion.
