seemed horses were closing 6-7 wide all day, even in sprints!

I cashed A nice win/place/show bet on Christmas Kid in the Ashland who rode the rail the entire way around. So I would have to respectfully disagree with your assesment of a deal rail.

Don\'t know about the rail but no wires except for a 4.5f race.All winners on poly circled wide from off the pace except for Christmas Kid who was wide down the backside and angled to the inside around the last turn.
