I looked at the head on from the Wood several times. Why no \"bo\" for AGS on the sheets?

Also, do you think the quick 3 week turnaround race for AGS after the tough Tampa race can set him back again?...I\'m thinking that AGS could be this year\'s A.P. Warrior.

Good call...I\'ve looked at that race several times and came to same conclusion.
There are several races,multiple horses that seem not to like 11 furlongs,much less 12.

You\'ve miscalculated a quarter mile. The Derby is 10 marks and the Wood was 9.

But your principal point is noted. Odd that the bear out is not designated in the data with the response that the horse will be addressed in the Seminar. Keep in mind in regard to that same race that Shug opted to pass the Derby with his right there second place Sightseeing and that John Velasquez jumped the 3rd place Any Given Saturday ship for Circular Quay. Maybe the Wood contained the three best Derby horses. Then again?

Tgraph will probably state that Nobiz has never moved forward at all and should have moved forward at this point as a three year old. That Nobiz is not fast enough at his current level of performance to win and that the bear out is possibly additional evidence that more distance may not be the tonic.

The only thing to worry about in that analysis is Tagg. Has Tagg brought him along for a top effort. In that regard you have to look at Funny Cides Sheet.  Funny Cide finally exceeded his 2YO figure before the Derby and then Matched that top in the Derby. They are different looking sheets, but are they really that much different? They were both fast 2YO\'s (Nobiz faster) and maybe Tagg didn\'t let Funny loose entirely in that years Wood or, maybe Funny got his game face on and went after Empire Maker one race earlier than Tagg wanted. What is common is that both of their Woods look to have been gut checks going into the big one.

Not saying No Biz is my selection; have not made up my mind yet.

NBLSB does have 2 things I definitely look for in a Derby contender; #1) solid efforts at 1 mile (Woody Stephens once said show me a horse that can press   and finish at a mile and I\'ll show you a horse that can get a classic distance) and #2) a 5 week break during his 3yo prep campaign.

Look at it this way.....if he wins, that\'s another year without a juice trainer in the winner\'s circle of perhaps the greatest race in the world

Taking in Woody\'s theorum on a horses\' pressing ability ,it would certainly validate CTMC\'s strong position on Teufle.
Unfortunately his trainer(part owner)seems to need the purse money(maybe nobody interested in purchasing him)more than setting a regimen for winning a race like the Derby.
Funny,as I scanned list of Derby possibles,alot of Johansesburgs\' popped up. Guess this is the Lawyer Ron of 07.Start #16 w/out any real time off...this horse has really accomplished a great deal in spite of connections.

Jamie Sanders reportedly turned down millions for Tufelsberg.If true, she as well as the potential buyer need their heads checked.That said, the arabs have people scowering the land looking to pay millions for anything resembeling a runner.

I\'d have sold for 2 million, but then I\'d have sold Lost in the Fog for the millions mentioned too.

Still, I\'m expecting a late scratch. This horse will not be in the Trial field. No reason to run with the lack of graded status.
