Rider of Einstein
« on: May 04, 2007, 06:11:25 AM »
Anybody know why Albarado is riding Einstein instead of Beyrano?  Is it possible the connections somehow think Albarado is a better rider than Beyrano because Albarado won with the horse in one ride after Beyrano was winless for a year?  Besides Beyrano, Desormeaux and David Flores (among others) are sitting out that race and would seem to be much better choices than Albarado in a race where trip figures to be pretty important.

His last 2 races were 6w3w and 3w5w, both producing negative numbers, this bothers me on 2 fronts. Sometimes when I see big wide trips like this with big numbers a red flag goes up, and when I see 2 big neg numbers in a row on a horse like this, I stop and pause. On the other hand, I like Brilliant and Go Between, nice 4 yr olds with decent numbers. Good Luck
