can anyone offer opinions on this sire?  I am thinking of getting in a partnerhsip - been in one before and it was great fun - but this is a bit more serious than \"fun\"...thanks in advance.

Hi Shanahan-

Came Home has one Grade 3 winner (Passion) from his first two crops (160 horses, the oldest of which are now four years old).

If there was a watch list for expensive stallions that aren\'t cutting it in Kentucky and will soon be shipped to a regional breeding program, Came Home would be near the top of said list.

That being said, it is still early in his stud career.

Shanahan,

Came Home is standing in Japan for 2008. Agree with Ill-bred that he\'s been quite a disappointment to this point in his stud career.

By the way, spent four wonderful racing days at OP recently. As you\'ve said, one of the great live venues in American racing.

So he\'s already gone...

Wonder what kind of deal Shanahan was offered then?!
