I went back and checked the last few strings and it didn\'t take long for the insults you slung at anyone who thought Big Brown might be vulnerable in the Belmont.

At 11am you didn\'t know what a quarter crack was or its possible effects, and now at 11:52am you know that it was caused by his grueling schedule of four races? When did you get all this knowledge? You certainly are a quick learner!

Why don\'t you dig Big Brown\'s grave and then push him into it? That would seem to bring you the most pleasure.

That\'s the nature of quarter cracks. They happen. There is no way to prove or disprove exactly when they happened. The \"big numbers and efforts\" might have caused it...or not.

As Miff said in an earlier post, they\'ve been discovered in horses who haven\'t done anything but light training.
