Charitable Man

most of you are by now at the seminar, but I don\'t see him winning...I think any of these 4 can beat him - and will play it:

4,7 / 4,7,1 / 4,7,1,2, (5)

alan like CM quite a bit as did every other handicapper I heard this AM...but I have to go against him.  Seems like one of our most read postscripts in August is \"the horses from the Spring (TC) are now being caught up with by the slower developing 3 YO...beware this weekend.

Connections (and bettors) cannot be happy about the ride Garcia gave CM.  Was it 3W4W in a 6 horse field?

Strange ride,CM outbroke the field a few jumps away but Garcia did not/could not \"send\" to clear or vie for the lead.He was wide both turns but without any sharp acceleration at any point. He\'ll get a good wide TG fig in a race he was kinda one paced, imo.Surprising in that I thought him to be a lot quicker off his maiden breaking wire job.For me,his halo got a little dull with that performance.

Miff,
you are right probably ran a very good number but i\'m done with this character.  He will have to win without me.  He\'s got no bottom, no fight.  Seems there are horses that somehow get to the wire first and others who run better numbers who always seem to get beat.
no doubt he was 3 wide the whole way but he just never seems to want to get past a horse. I hope he gets a nice number that makes his chart look like he is sitting on a new top and I get a chance to beat him next out.
good to see you back.  Help me find a winner today.

Completely agree with that assessment.  I would be interested to know whether it was could not or did not. Similar to the \"choice\" Garcia made in the beginning stages of the Belmont in some ways.  I\'ll let him beat me in the Travers, too.

Thinking Charitable Man should revert to one turn Miles......He\'s not a classic distance horse tome anyway....he\'s had more than enough chances..
