If Esk were 10-1

Really getting aggravated reading all the negative Eskenderaya posts. Thanks to Covel for being (as always) a voice of reason. Why don\'t you guys admit that he looks like one of (if not) the best in the race and that you would love him at 10-1. It seems as if some of you have forgotten that VALUE is the name of the game. How about addressing the value issue instead of looking for chinks in the armour that probably don\'t exist.

I never said that. I love a 2-1 shot in the Derby as long as he wins. I can make a pile of cash, no problem. My only problem is they need to win! I have no ego requirement that demands a 20-1 shot on Derby day. If POTN had won last year, I would have needed an armed guard to escort me out - but he didn\'t!

I know I\'ll have super tickets in my hand that won\'t even include Esk.  He looks like \"the one\", but sh*t happens in a 20 horse field, so I\'ll take a few shots with him in the 2-3-4 hole also. Heaven forbid he misses the board and I don\'t have it at least a couple times.
I love playing the Derby cause the possibilities are endless.  This year\'s edition looks to have more bounce candidates that I can recall in recent years. Ton of early speed horses, horses coming in that just ran their eyeballs out, the normal ten horses you can literally toss.  Its a fun race to bet even if you don\'t sign a bunch of times.
