The soundness issues aside this horse would have had a better than average chance of staying on the track for another year if the owner was not broke.
This is as simple as that. People need to get debts paid and the only way is to sell the horse.
I am a little curious about some of those project revenue numbers that Zayat had in his reorganization plan that were rolling out like 5 years. What was he assuming the horse was worth, stud fee he could command and I guess this was lumpd in with his other Stallions like, POTN and Zensational, etc.
