I\'m assuming the Derby won\'t be taking an also-entered for# 21 incase Pletcher sticks with the Oaks.   Tell me I\'m wrong.  If not, this is outrageous.

Considering it costs them $25,000 they can\'t get back if they run in the Oaks after being entered in the Derby, as unfair as it seems, it\'d also seem to indicate that the Derby is really where they plan to be.  They pay for the Oaks entry as well, but it\'s peanuts, so that they think they have the choice to bow out of the Derby if they get a terrible post draw, but really, is 20 going to make you chicken out?  The post really has nothing to do with whether you have the horse and get the trip.  Post 8 could as easily end up with the nightmare trip.

So after all that, what I\'m saying is that if she enters the Derby, I\'ll be shocked if she isn\'t there.  As for fairness, a Derby colt could always enter in the Derby and some other race as well, so it\'s really not as unfair as one thinks.

Didn\'t someone say in an earlier string that Pletcher did work for Lukas.

He has already won the Belmont with a filly.

I\'m not sure about a one # horse with essentially one prep but if you bet The Field in the futures Pools you are saying \"bring it on\"
