Before the Derby, I thought DUBLIN would bounce big time. I\'m surprised and impressed that he did not.

I\'m sure that the used car salesman will eventually gut him, however one of these days Dublin\'s consistency will get him his moment in the sun. Who knows? Maybe he\'s this year\'s Tabasco Cat.

PS: I\'m trying to put together any kind of scenario that will make the 2010 Preakness interesting.

I agree that Dublin ran better than expected. He made a rather eye-catching move in the Derby and showed some determination down the lane. I think this is especially significant since his two previous starts at Churchill strongly suggested that he didn\'t like the strip. Dublin\'s solid 3w effort just behind Super Saver on that quirky Arkansas Derby track should not be discounted. Nor should we forget D. Wayne\'s history of success in the Preakness.

Yes, I consider Dublin to be a very interesting horse. Depending on how he looks in the mornings and his post draw, Dublin could make his presence felt in the exotics.

I think Pleasant Prince running back to his Fla Derby would make the Preakness interesting.

He figured to bounce in the Bluegrass and Indy Kings have been really bad over the synthetics(small sample).Not quite sure what to make of the Derby Trial two weeks later in the mud.I\'m guessing he\'s headed back in the right direction.

I\'ll let Dublin and his wide packed figs beat me.His father liked the strip in Baltimore but the son shows no evidence of wanting these distances.At a mile maybe.

Pleasant Prince is the interesting horse for me in this race.   He worked that :58 and change over the Keeneland strip, Ward was beaming and the horse just came up lousy in the race.
