Don\'t want to step on any weather-toes here, but so far, so good; I work about a mile from the track and live a very short drive away and if first post was a half hour away I\'d think we\'d be fast and firm. Humidity is off the hook; just went out to get a sixer and am now sweating like a 1-for-eternity NYB trying to get through the last eighth on the Mellon.
Been poring over the National Weather Service area forecast discussions the past few days and reading those, I would have laid a couple paychecks @ 2/5 we were heading for a weather-pocalypse, so no longer sure what to think. The latest discussion\'s only mention of Saturday is this:
\"THE UPPER TROUGH AXIS
WILL MOVE OVER THE REGION SATURDAY HOWEVER THE UPPER LEVEL JET
WILL HAVE MOVED OFF TO OUR EAST.\"
Science was my worst subject so not sure if the upper level jet moving east is a good thing or not...perhaps TG can start making sheets for the local weatherfolk forecasting prowess? Frank D probably has more negative numbers on his sheet than the guys at WRGB, WNYT, and WTEN...the fact that I\'ll be making my first 2012 trip to Union Ave on Saturday may mean it\'s even money we\'ll get rained into a string of five horse fields...
