Since a lot of this info has now made it into the mainstream press (can\'t imagine how that happened), I can now talk about it:
The Breeders Cup had a lot of new programs this year.
It was the first without Clenbuterol.
All the horses had 72-96 hour security.
Lasix was administered by an outside vet.
Routine treatment syringes were confiscated several days before the races.
Bute levels were only allowed to be 2 micrograms, lowest in many years.
Out of competition testing was done on a randomly selected 25% of the horses from five countries.
TCO2 testing was done on all horses and trainers were told in advance the threshhold level would be the California standard, which is lower than others.
We\'ll be posting the BC sheets, you can draw your own conclusions.
