This is a tricky one. Considerations-- a) unsound horses (and this is definitely one) run well fresh, so coming back second off a layoff is not necessarily a plus, but b) he\'s still 5 points off his top, so that last may or may not have been an effort.
I would have had a hard time playing him to get back to his top unless I got a BIG price (like 20-1), but in a race where a 5 made him a strong contender I could have taken him at 6-8 to 1. And the next figure should tell us something about where he\'s at-- a backward move now would be very bad.
