Jerry - When you ban a licensed Vet for expressing her opinion about this controversial subject - It hurts your own credibility (IMO).

HR-- not what happened and not gonna happen.

Sight didn\'t offer an opinion but a \"fact\", putting credibility behind \"knowing\" it, and given many chances and hours neither backed up the statement nor retracted it. You\'ve been using sheets long enough to know we have a serious drug problem in this game, and things like what Sight did can cause serious damage. This is the most read board by serious people in the industry (and others-- within 45 minutes the post MJ put up at around 10:30 last night was viewed 150 times).

Likewise the RCI guy who keeps going around saying (literally) this is the most tested sport in the world and tests show 99.4% are clean. Forget all the issues I have raised about number of horses tested, testing problems, not testing for the right drugs etc.-- nobody has access to the test results, so he has no basis for the statement any more than Sight did. What he does is extrapolate the few called positives-- almost none of which are for anything that matters-- against the number of starters in a year. But I can\'t keep that guy from saying it. I can keep Sight from doing it, at least here.

By the way, my first move was a 3 month suspension of posting privileges, and Sight decided to ignore me and post anyway. That was that.

Jerry - your kidding yourself - when the so-called important people who view this board see that you are banning a vet for expressing her point of view - it makes you look very weak.

There are people who say outrageous things all the time on this board - (either informed or uninformed) they don\'t seem to get banned?

Depends what they say. I\'ve banned a few people before this. They tend to end up on the Rag board, taking shots at me. They might have enough for a Bridge game now.
