Thanks for the kind words. I would say that LOL was a pretty routine play for me
just based on her Group 2 win on a good to soft course. Besides her French
victory, she was Group 1 stakes placed in her final two starts as a 3YO, once in
England, once in Ireland.
The breeding was pretty obscure, had never heard of the sire before.
I was assuming that LOL was under the care of Chad Brown and would remain with
Brown for a US campaign, but when LOL showed up in the post parade with a two
legged escort I thought that there was the possibility that the Euro connections
were still involved.
Figure-wise, obviously a stab, one which became less appealing when the odds were
cut by a third, but given the chance I will back her in the future. Her running
lines show a good turn of foot and she might be better prepared for North American
racing after hanging around under Chad\'s shedrow for a while.
