Does anyone have any thoughts as to why Cheyenne Nation breezed on June 3 at CD, and then breezed on the turf 2 weeks later at AP, and then four days later breezed back at CD? Was he scratched in there?

I, try as I might, I can\'t find the AP entries or program for around then, and don\'t want to waste new pps looking for a past entry.

I can\'t answer your question, however this race is as tough a race to handicapp as you can get. You can make a case for practically every runner. So far I\'ve only eliminated Newfound Zapper, the AE\'s and the MTO\'s. Past that I can\'t seperate the rest of the field. Any thoughts on this race will be well received by me.

While it is possible that CN worked at both tracks 4
days apart -- CD operates a horse shuttle service
between the two tracks -- it\'s also possible that
what you are seeing is our notoriously haphazard
recording of works here in the Midwest.

The horse may have been at both tracks, as indicated,
either...or neither. (Yes, it\'s that bad.)

As far as a selection goes, it\'s hard to overlook the
huge jock change on the #2 Wayward Sailor, a horse
with very competitive figs. I think Castellano will
slow it down to a crawl, and turn it into a 2
furlong sprint late.

Agree with the pace scenario.  Looks like Money in Motion will get a great stalking trip with Velasquez at 12-1.  Never taken a backward step since getting on the turf. Have to toss in Kingoftheblugrass at that morning line number. Won\'t win but can easily hit the board.

Agree Castellano will try to get an easy lead, good post to do it with. I don\'t know if he can pull it off at this distance. I think there are other horses that can keep with him and last longer. But the 2 could definitely win this.
I think Hardest Core is the strongest runner here. A lightly race 3yo (yummy) who didn\'t get lasix at 2 and has been running strong since. I also like Galluscio\'s horse too.
I am still scratching my head over CN. In a san of 18 days he breezed three times and raced once. I thought about the misprint possibility. But since then has breezed well twice, last time on the turf.

I\'ll Call is currently 3-1, well-bred by an owner that breeds for turf distance. Odds too low for me there to win. Royal Blessing gets Lezcano and is a grinder that rates.

Wide open indeed.

To win, I like the 5, 12 and the maybe the 10 who I would just hate to see it beat me.
Definitely agree too that Kingofthebluegrass could hit the board. Don\'t really like the 4 at this distance. Nor the 11.

 Just don\'t want to blow my weenie bankroll on the first race! Unless I see something special, may chicken out!

Sorry to see the 2 scratch out of the second.
