A Glimmer of Light at the End of the Bridge
« on: April 20, 2014, 09:17:56 AM »
Bayonne Bridge that is.

At 11 AM I will be able to ascertain whether the most excellent OTB facility
in Bayonne will indeed, as its online schedule indicates, open its doors
today, Easter Sunday.

Considering that Monmouth, Meadowlands and the Woodbridge facility are all
closed today, I would imagine that a rather large flock will be congregating
over by Route 440.

Despite the possibility of a crowd of Biblical proportions, I\'m feeling the tug.

According to the schedule, racing will be piped in from Calder, Parx,
Gulfstream, Santa Anita and Golden Gate.

Lest anyone think I am abandoning my family, Ms. Richiebee and Ms Mother in
Law are touring the Motherland, not to return until after derby day. I am
rather certain that most of my fellow T-generates will forgive this callous
contravention of NY\'s edict that I not have action on this Holiday.

Confirmed. Bayonne open, closing at 6 pm.

Grocery shopping in Bayonne, drop off a late SA P4, come home to watch on TVG?

This is why we love you Richie!
