Or perhaps horses aren\'t machines that develop based off a script or a what a piece of paper says, and the people who are around the horse everyday noticed he isnt the same anymore, and it probably would be putting him at risk to keep shoving him back in the starting gate???
This colt doesnt seem like the typical Curlin given his precocity at 2. It is foolish to expect just because the form says \"Curlin\" in the pedigree that he will be even better at 4. It IS posible that this horse just developed early and those high levels took their toll.
