To me two notable omissions.

Not that I ever play or pay attention there, but Presque Isle is probably, with hard times in Illinois, best of the mattress tracks remaining in the US. Hard to leave Mahoning Valley, home of the $400 horse, off the list.

Speaking of Mahoning, Albatross probably happy that US Supreme Court surprisingly decided to consider an appeal of the prohibition of sports wagering in NJ

Make a horizontal line between SA and Del Mar. Call it the Equator. Other than for winter at GP, I spend very little time or money south of the Equator.

Why no OP or KD on the list?

Gulf and Laurel suit me fine, as well. . . and occasionally, a couple of the others.

These tracks get $0 from me with these exceptions: Florida Derby and Pegasus Cup days I play a little at GP, and I bet the KY Oaks/Derby day cards. Outside of that, I give none of these tracks a single dollar of action, for a selection of these reasons: high takeout, (what I suspect to be) rampant cheating, poor streaming availability, low quality of racing.

If I lived in a state other than Nevada, I would also be picky about rebates, but we don\'t get any.

I enjoy your posts, and memory. I am hopeful that something might come out of the Supreme Court. Still think it\'s long shot, not >200-1 though. I think if Darby had been more upfront with NFL,NCAA,NBA and the rest, something might have happened a while ago. Maybe if Darby let them \"wet their beak\" it would have gone differently vs. blindsiding them. Not an attorney of any sort, but as a laymen, I wished they tried a different approach.

I think the SCOTUS decided to hear the case preemptively, or before the legislation to repeal PASPA (Bradley Act) is put forth.  Ultimately I don\'t think anything happens unless that happens.

Reasons why< lack of interest or working knowledge of the nuances of those tracks, jockeys, trainers, perception of lack of institutional control over the facility/product.
